What does Kohomada mean?
Kohomada is a Sinhalese word that means "How is everything going?",
"How are you?" A very simple way to greet someone.
But Kohomada means a lot more.
Back in 1994 Luke visited Sri Lanka for the first time.
The vast amount of work to be done in the field of human needs
striked him very much. Sri Lanka is a splendid Island, maybe
the most beautiful Island in the world, yet many social
security provisions are missing, like in most of these countries.
Many of the tourists only see the luxurious hotels and fancy beaches,
yet not the poignant condition of most of the local people.
Together with a lot of friends, enthusiasts and
families that joined our "family for family" and other
projects, we now support "KOHOMADA"

It's sometimes called the teardrop
