How do we help?

By direct financial support.

The money which is paid by our members, is entirely sent to our co-worker Chaminda Yapa Bandara in Sri Lanka. He delivers the correct amounts to the relevant families. In this way, no penny is kept back for administrative, functioning costs or whatsoever.

Material Support.

Goods that are useful for our projects or families are mainly sent from Belgium. Some matters are bought or manufactured locally in Sri Lanka.

Moral support.

Is given by the exchange of letters between the Belgian and Sri Lankan families.

How is fundraising done?

For the "family for family" project the necessary amount of money is completely provided by the supporting Belgian family. For all other projects several kind of actions are taken: Sri Lankan evenings, selling of cake, our Sri Lankan shop, Christmas and new year greeting cards and the support of people who voluntarily deposit money on our account.
